Up in my head there's a war zone
Covering in flames precious thoughts
It slowly kills a promising future
Destroying memories from a past long gone.

Like poison killing me slowly
Life as I see it dissapears form my eyes
A ghoul takes it's place instead
And I see death as cold as ice.

Childhood innocence's no longe with me
I've seen cruelty in human form
I've endured pain and hunger patiently
My spirit's gone to the great beyond.
